[ VMS ] Control Center V3.4, VMS V16.11, Abnormal Resolution in Matrix - 20170930
Posted: September 30th, 2017, 5:35 pm
Issue:
Having different camera resolution in Control Center v3.4 Matrix comparing to VMS
Symptom:
Matrix’s camera resolution doesn’t update after changing it directly in camera web UI, when Control Center receives camera live views via VMS.
Root Cause:
Since Control Center will prioritize the setting from VMS, if you changed camera’s resolution directly from the web UI, Control Center would not update to new resolution information.
Patch / Procedure (GV-VMS_V16.11.0.009.zip):
1. Close all VMS related applications
2. Unzip GV-VMS_V16.11.0.009.zip and run GV-VMS_V16.11.0.009.exe
3. Restart VMS
NOTE:
It's only applicable to GV-VMS V16.11.0
