Issue:
When running in multi-channel layout in NVR/DVR, live view image from stream2 freezes. However, when enlarged into single channel view (stream1), live view becomes real time.
Solution:
This is a known issue for VS2400/2420 on firmware v1.01.
Please upgrade the firmware to v1.02 or above, and you should have this problem fixed.
