[ DVR/NVR ] v8.71, Multicam crashes, EBD4700 and Third Party Cameras - 20170531
Posted: May 31st, 2017, 7:22 pm
Issue:
Customer failed to add EBD4700 and Third Party Camera to GV-Multicam V8710. Multicam crashes when the camera is connected.
Root Cause:
This is due to the limitation of .dll.
Patch / Procedure:
1. Close NVR and other related GeoVision software.
2. Go to the installation folder of NVR (C:/GV-NVR)
3. Rename the folder “VideoAnalytics”.
4. Open the NVR and connect the ONVIF camera.
NOTE: This will disable all video analytics features. If you don't have any analog camera, we suggest switching to GV-VMS to avoid this issue.
