The RTSP stream worked with both enabling/disabling the authentication while the cameras were still on v1.01. After upgrading to v1.02 though, you are prompted for the ID/PW over and over, and never displays the video.
Why the option to disable RTSP authentication is available with v1.01 but removed for v1.02?
Answer:
The reason GV-Cloud cameras' RTSP authentication is not available with v.102 is due to security issue.
