[ Backup Center ] Is it possible to rename the backup center v1.12 storage folders – 20150306

Question:
What ports should I open in the router and modify on the GV-IP cam if I've got two cameras on the same router?

Answer:
No, it is unable to rename the backup center storage folders.
However, the following shows how the Backup center makes a folder name of hosts on the local side.

NVR/DVR Side (Hosts):
1. Go to C drive - > Find “NVR” folder -> Click “GeoBkSvrInfo”

2. You will see a “DeviceID=6805ca11d7b70000000000” after clicking “GeoBkSvrInfo”. This DeviceID is going to be used for creating the name of Host folder on Backup Center side.

Backup Center Side:
3. You will see a folder name that is exactly the same as the DeviceID we have on the pc with NVR/DVR installed.
