Applied to:
GV-EYE v2.0

Question:
What ports should I open on the router if I have two cameras on the same network?

Answer:
1. Open a web browser to type the IP address of the camera.
2. Once you get into the setting interface, go to Network -> Advanced TCP/IP. And you will find there is a port called “VSS” port under “GV-IPCAM Streaming Port Settings”.

3. For the first camera, you can just leave it as “10000”. For the second one, go change the port number to “10001” then click “Apply”. And 10002 for 3rd camera, 10003 for 4th camera respectively.
4. These are the two ports you need to open on your router when you set up port forwarding.
