[Technical Notice] LPR Camera Error: Insufficient Power Supply Causing Recognition Failure

Symptom
The LPR camera is unable to perform license plate recognition. The camera’s Web interface displays the error messages “Engine Firmware Version: undefined” and “License not found”, as shown below.

Cause
The LPR camera requires a power supply of at least 13W. This issue is caused by insufficient power delivery to the camera, which leads to a malfunction of the internal recognition engine and licensing modules.


Solution
If you confirm that power supply is inadequate and the error messages appear on the camera’s Web interface, please contact our Technical Support Team for further troubleshooting.
