After upgrading the GV-TMEB5800 firmware to V1.02 or later, users may encounter a display issue related to the Dual Image Fusion feature. The following sections describe the symptom and its solution.
Symptom
When Dual Image Fusion is enabled (in Image > Display Settings > Image Configuration in the Web interface), it may cause the thermal image to display artifacts or turn completely black.
Solution
To resolve the issue, follow the steps below.
- In the bottom left of the live view interface, right-click and hold the Thermal Image Display icon for about 10 seconds. Release the button when the arrow buttons appear. ⬇
- Reboot the camera using either of the following methods:
- In the Web Interface, go to Config > Maintenance > Reboot, click Reboot, and type the Password of the device.
- In GV-IP Device Utility, double-click the GV-TMEB5800 camera in the device list to open the settings dialog box. Type the Username and Password of the device, then go to the Other Settings tab and click Reboot. ⬇
- After successfully rebooting, the system will automatically refresh the Dual Image Fusion data, restoring the thermal image to normal.
