Unable to access playback from VMS via ASWeb, however, the playback works fine on ASManager.
Resolution:
Please follow the instructions below.
1. On VMS, click Toolbar > Network > WebCam Server.

2. Navigate to the Server tab, if the ASManager and the VMS are installed on the same PC, then please make sure that the HTTP port doesn’t conflict with the ASManager’s HTTP port.
Then click OK.

3. On ASManager, right-click the VMS and click Settings… .

4. Change the Connect Type to WebSocket to allow for playback using Non-IE browsers, then enter the HTTP port number for the VMS and click OK.
Note: The default Connect Type setting “ASManager” only supports playback via Internet Explorer.

5. You should be able to access the playback from ASWeb now.
