Question:
How do I manually add a VMS server from ERM?

Answer:
1. Control Center Service and Remote ViewLog Service must be enabled on GV-VMS before using GV-Edge Recording Manager (Windows Version).

2. Click Home > Toolbar > Network > Control Center Server to enable the Control Center Service and Remote ViewLog Service.

3. After enabling the Control Center Service and Remote ViewLog Service, go to Edge Recording Manager.

4. Click on Host List > Plus Button > Add Host > Add VMS/DVR/NVR

5. A Host Setting Box will appear. Then fill in the Host Name, Address, ID, and password, then click on the Update Information to get the VMS information.

6. If VMS information is correct, you will get a Pop up box as in the picture below. Then Click OK and OK again to close the Host Setting Box.

7. You can now view the VMS camera by dragging and dropping.
