Symptom
Users would encounter GV-SNVR3203/6403 timeout when trying to upgrade to firmware V1.01, leading to a failed firmware upgrade.
Cause
The firmware upgrade failure may be caused by insufficient USB storage capacity or the SNVR system operation failure after running for some time (firmware V1.00).
Solution
To successfully upgrade to firmware V1.01 for GV-SNVR3203/6403, follow the instructions below:
- Before upgrading the firmware using a USB flash drive, make sure the storage capacity exceeds 16 GB.
- If the firmware upgrade fails either by using a USB flash drive or by online upgrade on the Web interface, power off and restart the SNVR.
