Symptom
When watching the live view of any of the models listed above on GV-VMS and GV-Control Center, the video may sometimes fail to play smoothly.

Solution
To resolve the abovementioned symptom, follow Method 1 in the methods listed below first. If the symptom persists, follow Method 2.

Method 1
  1. Close GV-VMS or GV-Control Center.
  2. Download and unzip the following patch files:
    GV-VMS V17.3.0.4 Patch
    http://54.200.75.24/english/EncodeUrl3. ... .3.0.4.zip
    GV-Control Center V3.6.0.2 Patch
    http://54.200.75.24/english/EncodeUrl3. ... .6.0.2.zip
  3. Double-click GV-VMS_V17.3.0.4.exe or GV-ControlCenter_V3.6.0.2.exe.
  4. If the patch file is successfully installed, “Updated successfully.” will appear.
  5. Restart GV-VMS or GV-Control Center.
If unsatisfied with the results from Method 1, proceed to Method 2.

Method 2
  1. Log in the Web interface of your GV-IP camera.
  2. Select Video and reduce the value of any or all of the options below.
    A. Bit Rate (Kbps): Reduce the bit rate. The recommended value is 3072.
    B. Image Quality: Slide toward Quality to reduce value.
    C. I Frame Interval: Reduce and test the I Frame Interval from 30, 20 to 10. The default value is 40.

  3. Click Save.
