[Technical Notice] Motion Recording Issues with GV-VMS

Symptom
In rare cases, GV-VMS V17.1 may fail to record motion events after the motion recording function becomes stagnant over a prolonged period of time.

Solution
If the recordings are missing from the playback timeline and no AVI files are found, install the patch file listed below.

Note: If the AVI files exist but are not visible on the playback timeline, use Repair Database Utility to fix these recorded files first.

1. Close GV-VMS.
2. Download the patch file GV-VMS V17.1.0.009 from the link: http://54.200.75.24/english/EncodeUrl.a ... .0.009.zip
3. Unzip the downloaded file.
4. Double-click the GV-VMS V17.1.0.009 program.

5. If the patch file is successfully installed, “Updated successfully” will appear.

6. Restart GV-VMS.
