Problem
Due to the update of the NAND flash memory in GV-IP Camera of V1.09 and later, there is a slight chance that after reboot, your GeoVision IP camera with the new NAND flash becomes inaccessible through the Web interface or GV-DVR / NVR.

Solution
If you could not access your GV-IP Camera, follow the steps below to upgrade your camera firmware.
  1. Download the latest firmware according to the camera model from our website.
  2. Download and install GV-IP Device Utility program in the same LAN with your camera.
  3. Double-click the IP Device Utility icon created on your desktop. The program automatically searches for the GeoVision IP devices on the same LAN. This dialog box appears.

  4. Click the Name, MAC Address or IP Address to sort.
  5. On the GV-IP Device Utility window, click your camera and select Configure. This window appears.

  6. Select the Firmware Upgrade tab and click the Browse button to locate the downloaded firmware file.
  7. Type the password of your camera and click OK to start upgrading.
