Symptom
When working as a standalone unit, GV-AS110 / AS120 may fail to enroll more than 44 access cards. The controller LED flashes in blue and red when enrolling the 45th card and the enrollment process fails to complete. Note that this issue does not occur when GV-AS110 / AS120 is connected to the GV-ASManager.
Solution
To resolve the issue, upgrade the firmware of the GV-AS110 / AS120 through the controller’s Web interface using the patch file below.
- Download the patch file from our website and unzip the file.
- GV-AS110 Firmware
- GV-AS120 Firmware
- Access the Web interface of the GV-AS110 / AS120 by typing its IP address in a Web browser. The default IP address is 192.169.0.100.
- Type the Username and Password to log in. The default username and password are both admin.
- In the left menu, select Firmware Update. This page appears.

- Click the Browse button and locate the firmware file (*.bin).
- Click the Upload button. The update procedure may take 60 seconds to complete.
- When the update is complete, a dialog box appears and asks you to reboot the system.
- Click OK. The controller will reboot to complete the firmware upgrade process.
