Summary
This document covers the basic instruction on adding GV-IP Cameras to Genetec surveillance system using ONVIF protocols.

Instruction
  1. Run the Omnicast Config Tool program, and type the username and password to log in.

  2. On the left menu, click Physical View.

  3. Under the device list, right-click the host computer, select Create and then Video Unit.

  4. Select ONVIF in the Manufacturer drop-down list, type the IP address, username and password of the GV-IP Camera and click Add.

  5. To see if the camera is successfully added or not, click Details. This window appears.

  6. To access the live view of the GV-IP Camera, run the Genetec Live Viewer.
  7. Drag the camera under the device list to the live view window. The live view is displayed.

    Note: Omnicast does not support audio function.
