Symptom
Failure may occur when manually adding ABL1300 / ADR1300 on GV-VMS / DVR / NVR. This is caused by the camera’s firmware being not up-to-date.
The Add Camera window on GV-VMS / DVR / NVR fails to respond when attempting to manually add ABL1300 / ADR1300. Solution
To resolve the above-mentioned symptom, follow the steps below.
- Open GV-IP Device Utility, which can be downloaded here.
Note:Make sure the GV-IP Device Utility installed is under the same LAN as the ABL1300 /ADR1300. - Initialize Search to check for the firmware version of the ABL1300 / ADR1300.
- The firmware version is out-of-date if it is “v1.01 2017-03-13” instead of “v1.01 2017-05-25.”
- To obtain the correct version of firmware for ABL1300 / ADR1300, contact our support team (support@geovision.com.tw) for further proceedings.
