[Technical Notice] Intermittent Connection Issue in GV-DVR / NVR

Symptom
When adding certain GV-IP cameras to GV-DVR / NVR V8.7.3.0, the camera information (resolution and codec) becomes inaccessible even when the camera appears to be successfully added. In addition, the connection becomes intermittent and unreliable after a while.

Solutions

To resolve the above-mentioned symptom, install the patch file listed below.

1. Close GV-DVR / NVR
2. Download the patch file from
   http://54.200.75.24/english/EncodeUrl.a ... .3.002.zip
3. Unzip the downloaded file.
4. Double-click the program.

5. If the patch file is successfully installed, “Updated successfully” will appear.

6. Restart GV-DVR / NVR.
