[ VMS ] GV-VMS repair DB utility and instant replay issues - 20170731

Question:
1. After the first video file finishes playing in Instant Playback, it will stop and won't automatically play the next video segment. Is this a specification? Will there be an option for users to check "auto-play next event" (similar to Remote Viewlog)?
2. The time required for VMS DB repair is significantly longer than for Multicam. For a customer with 9TB of files, Multicam rebuild takes 20-30 minutes, but performing VMS rebuild on the same PC takes 36-40 hours. Is this normal?

Response:
1. Instant playback doesn't have an "auto-play next event" option to check. It operates with a mechanism that offers choices of 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, and 5 minutes as playback durations. Once the designated time is completed, playback will stop.
2. The VMS DB repair process takes significantly longer time than Multicam, and this has been confirmed as per specifications.
